Aaron’s TOP TIP # If you’re planning to see Angkor Wat at sunrise, make sure you plot out your course of action in advance. This site can become quite busy as the day goes on, but getting there early allows you a spectacular display of the mist rising over the pools as the sun breaks on the horizon. Once you’ve gotten that picture perfect photo, it’s time to explore. Be sure to pack a good pair of shoes and lots of water as the site of this 7th Wonder is vast and the tropical weather can get uncomfortable by late morning/early afternoon.
